Welcome
Welcome to McLaurin Heights Methodist Church (MHMC), a family of faith dedicated to growing together through life. At MHMC, we are committed to growing spiritually and welcoming new members into our community.
Life here is about experiencing both the joyful and challenging moments together. We believe in seeking biblical guidance for life’s real challenges, embracing grace, love, and support from each other.
MHMC is a place where everyone is welcome, and we invite you to join us on this journey toward abundant life in Christ.
Ministries
Our mission is to make disciples of Christ to transform the world. At McLaurin Heights, we offer ministries for all ages, from children to senior adults. Our programs foster spiritual growth within our church family and extend grace to the Pearl community. Through Bible studies, worship services, and outreach, we aim to grow in faith and make a positive impact in our community.

McLaurin Heights Methodist Church has supported the Pearl community for years with an on-site food pantry, helping to relieve hunger and poverty in our service area. Our food pantry serves over 2,000 people annually, distributing more than 50 lbs of food every month.
Our mission is “to relieve poverty related to hunger” by distributing food donated by church families and local organizations. Food is sourced through local food drives and purchased with donations.
The food pantry operates every Tuesday and Wednesday. To place a request, please call 601.939.2163 on Tuesday between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. for Wednesday pickup at the same time. Please note: we cannot accept walk-ins.
